Why Aren’t You Happy?
If you read only one sentence today it should be this one which, if you click it, will lead you to a great article about why you might not be happy. Because I am incapable of sharing a link without editorializing, let me offer you this; Your happiness is not the result of certain conditions. Certain conditions are the result of your happiness. If you want more happiness in your life stop thinking there’s anything you need to do, or need to acquire, and start focusing all your energy on being happy in the absence of what you think you need or require. How to engage the magic? Two ways that I’m aware of. One, act as if. This is not lying. It is creation, and two, give it away.
Whatever you want in your life, give it away. Want more happiness, cause another to be happy. Want more wisdom, cause another to be wise. This works for the simple reason that you cannot give away what you do not have. By giving another person joy your basically telling yourself I have joy to give. So give it all away, and act as if.
