The Political Quote of the Year (So Far)

It’s not so much that the thought crossed his mind, or that machine gun shoots can’t be grand fun. I’ve also had some twisted thoughts in my time, and I’m sure blowing the crap out of stuff with an Uzi can be an invigorating blast of masculine bliss. It’s that someone thought it was an appropriate public activity in support of our Democratic principles. Though on some level it fits with how we’ve come to practice politics.
