The Fanboy Effect
As Jessica Alba once said, you gotta love the fanboy.
And this is not to say critics are infallible defenders of the proper verdict, cause they obviously missed the mark on The Core, but had I been on the ball I could have told you months ago Speed Racer was going to stink, and no, I have not watched the film yet, but I will, and it will stink, and I’ll be cool with that. It was a doomed idea to begin with and no level of sophistication, CGI, or tender love was gonna change its destiny.
