Jill Greenberg Shoots McCain
The Atlantic asked Jill Greenberg to shot John McCain for its October cover article. A committed Democrat Ms. Greenberg snapped the above photo, seemingly on the sly, which the Atlantic chose not to use, going with a more heroic photograph.
Warned that the image is just the kind of thing that will stir up the anti-media vitriol in the conservative blogosphere, Greenberg said, “Good. I want to stir stuff up, but not to the point where I get audited if he becomes president.”
She admits she’s considered “replacing McCain’s mouth with bloody shark teeth and displaying the image on a billboard with the message that the candidate is a bloodthirsty war monger.”
While she has not gone the billboard route if you visit her on-line studio you’ll be greeted by the following photo, which leaves you with little doubt who she’ll be voting for this November.
