Help Me Get It
I figure it’s a minor civic duty to pay attention to the wars my country chooses to start. So I’m following along, doing my part, but I guess I don’t get it. Could be the four week blowout binge of booze and Ritalin getting the best of me, or it could be I’m just dense. Maybe someone can explain it to me, draw me some stick figures or something, cause I don’t understand why anyone would suggest the security in Iraq is getting better, but turn around and advocate removing the reason why. So the soda pop blitz helped, and what, it’s gonna stay that way by some mystical cosmic force? Are we sprinkling generous amounts of happy dust across the land? I don’t get it. The two notions, this behavior seems to help, but we’re gonna stop doing it, doesn’t make sense to me. Of course, I think the whole war is a sham wrapped in the blood and grief of families. Nonetheless, you want it to work out, so I guess I don’t get this point.
