No problems Sandra, and sorry for the delay here… So I visited your sites. Nice job translating them. It looks like you figured out how to change the thickbox text, but if I am wrong, then you’ll have to dig around in the thickbox file included with the theme. Once you open up the file just do a search for the word you want to replace in the file and then do the deed.

Hi, Amos! Thank you very much for your themes. I’ve installed both Buttermaker and Hunsecker, and they are wonderful!! I’ll be happy if I could add or change text showed on Thickbox, can you help me? I’ve translated the complete themes into spanish, and the “close or esc key” text in thickbox images is not very elegant… You can see what I did in http://mc.delendis.com (still working on it), and http://sandra.delendis.com

Hi. I’m loving this theme so far. There is one thing that I can’t seem to get to work, though. Any time I click on a page link at the top, I get this :

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDWHILE in /nfs/c03/h01/mnt/49131/domains/blog.barefootvinyl.com/html/wp-content/themes/buttermaker/page.php on line 20

I’m probably missing something, a point in the right direction would be awesome. Thanks!

Josef – Appreciate the feedback. Yeah, I’m scared as to the possibilities in IE. As for Forefox, on a Mac, it works fine for me using a downloaded copy without any changes. I used the latest version of Firefox and the new alpha 3.1. However, there does seem to be issues in Opera, so when I get a chance I’ll debug it.

The Thickbox won’t work on this site as I did not weave it into this theme. I just stuck Smoothbox in here so the demos should work now. You could try using Smoothbox instead of Thickbox. Smoothbox is basically the same thing, but uses Mootools.

I probably did not add any highlight css to the stylesheet so making the changes to the comments.php will not actually do anything. Play around with .highlight class and see what you can make of it.

Again, really appreciate the bug reports. Let me know if you find more, or if you fix some of them yourself.

Wonderful theme (as I’ve already mentioned to Amos).

A few things…

1. Of course it looks stunning in Safari, but Firefox & Opera (on a Mac at least) have the sidepar.php at the bottom of the page, not on the right; haven’t checked any flavour of IE or PC;

2. Although I’ve followed your instructions, and also other troubleshooting channels, I cannot get thickbox to work; indeed it doesn’t seem to work on the sample above either!

3. Don’t know if you made use of it either, but after changing as instructed there are no apparent changes in author comment (I’ll likely fiddle it myself);

4. Love the inline asides; love the footnotes plug-in, it’s a gem.

She (he… since it’s Butterworth?) is still a beauty.
