A Note to this Site’s Lovely RSS Consumers
Just a quick word to note I’m now tossing my bookmarks into the flow. While it’s a great service delicious has a few drawbacks, namely character limits and frowning upon any HTML funny business. By weaving my bookmarks into this site’s feed I get around these two pesky issues.
At this point I’d suggest you ax my delicious feed from your rotation. Of course, you’re free to consume in whatever manner is most acceptable to you, but if you are subscribing to my delicious feeds and my site feed you’ll be receiving duplicate content at this point. If you only want to read my bookmarks, and not regular posts, such as this one, then jump to my site where you can choose among three main feeds — everything, just bookmarks, or just articles.
I should also note I mucked around inside my WordPress RSS template in order to place a star before all regular posts. I also changed the title permalink for bookmark posts. Clicking the title of these posts will jump you to the bookmark’s source. Other website’s more mighty than mine implement a similar setup, most notably Daring Fireball.
So that’s it. Just wanted to mention these changes.
